On December 2, “Indigo”, the first solo album by BTS leader RM, is finally coming out! The rapper has not only been on stage with BTS for over 9 years, but has also already released two solo mixtapes: “RM” in 2015 and “Mono” in 2018. Still, his first official solo album is another new step, and we're looking forward to cheering him on!
The rapper has prepared two very different versions for us! The Book Version consists of a white box in which buyers will find a 100-page book, a CD, two postcards, one of three possible photocards, an instant photo and a fabric card! Fabric is something that is rarely used for the components of an album. We're curious how the card feels!
The album will be released on December 2. If you pre-order it, you'll get a folded poster on top of everything else!
The WeVerse Albums Ver. is, as already mentioned, completely different! You can also expect a white box, but it is a bit smaller than the one of the Book Version. The main component is a 30-piece postcard set! In addition, the box contains a 32-page lyric book, one of two possible photocards, an instant photo, a QR card and an instruction sheet. The instructions explain how to use the QR card to access digital content such as the songs of the album.
As different as the two versions are, they complement each other very well as a set, don't you think?
RM has been working on the album since 2019, and very soon we'll finally get to admire the result of his efforts. Like the mixtapes, the new songs are said to be based on RM’s stories and experiences. He has also collaborated with many different artists on the album!
RM is thus already the third member of BTS to release a solo album this year. J-Hope presented his album “Jack in the Box” in July, and just recently, on October 28, Jin’s first album “The Astronaut” was released.
BTS are currently releasing an individual photo book one after another. Among others, since the end of August you can also order RM's photo book from us!
