If you regularly check NCT’s social media channels, you’ve already noticed that the boy group announced yesterday a comeback with the whole group on August 28! This announcement has undoubtedly sparked excitement and anticipation among the fans, who are called NCTzen’s. Today, NCT followed up right away with new details and revealed two versions of the fourth full album “Golden Age”.
“Golden Age” is probably the last group album before the boy group is completed by NCT Tokyo. So it ends an era full of memories.
The upcoming comeback is only the fourth by NCT with all members! Currently, NCT consists of 20 members, because this year Lucas, Sungchan and Shotaro left the boy group. Sungchan and Shotaro will soon debut in the new SM boy group RIIZE. The last full album “Universe” was almost 20 months ago, as it was released on December 14, 2021.
In this article, we summarize all the details known so far about the physical albums for you!
Let’s first take a look at the “Archiving Version”:
Not all the contents are known yet, but this version already promises to be a highlight. You can look forward to a 224-page booklet! In addition, you get an envelope, one of 20 possible bookmarks, one of four stickers, one of 20 Ear Book cards and one of 20 photocards. Further details will be announced.
In addition, there are also 20 “Collecting Versions”:
Each version is dedicated to one of the 20 members and consists of a 40-page booklet. And that wasn’t all, of course. It also includes, among other things, an envelope, a table of contents, a nuts and bolts set and folded lyrics. You also get a few random extras: One of 20 possible postcards, one of 20 license cards, one of 20 photocards and one of 20 folded posters.
Which photocard or postcard you get, you only find out when you unpack the album!
Attention: There are 20 different versions, but because we ourselves only receive them randomly, we can only offer them randomly in the shop. But as always, you are welcome to state a wish when ordering and we will try to fulfill it. Please note that this is not always possible.
In the past, NCT and other SM groups have often announced further versions bit by bit, so it’s not unlikely that more variants will be available soon. We’re curious about what else is coming our way!
With their reputation for pushing boundaries, experimenting with different genres and consistently delivering high-quality music, NCT raise high expectations among K-Pop fans worldwide with every announcement. The first details only increase the excitement even more!
Further teasers such as the tracklist will only be uploaded in the coming days and weeks, but it’s likely that the various units like NCT Dream or WayV will record a song for the album. We can also certainly look forward to new combinations.
About NCT:
NCT was founded by SM Entertainment and is a pioneer in the K-Pop industry with its unusual concept of being active mainly in subunits. This approach allows NCT to showcase a wide range of talents and musical styles, which makes every release a varied and captivating experience. The first unit “NCT U” debuted in April 2016 with the singles “7th Sense” and “Without You”.
Four more units followed: NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV and, most recently, NCT DoJaeJung. Each new unit stormed the charts and cemented NCT’s status as one of the most successful K-Pop groups in the world.
Originally, the group debuted with the concept that it would expand infinitely and keep founding new units. At the beginning of the year, however, SM Entertainment announced that the expansion is ending and only one last unit will debut: NCT Tokyo. So NCT will soon finally be complete.
