Aespa has become an established name in the K-Pop industry by now. Almost all of their music videos have more than 100 million views, most of them even more than 200 million! Unfortunately, fans of the girl group have to be patient again and again, because since their debut in 2020, Aespa has only released two albums. But in the last two years, at least one album has come out each year, and this year is no exception: the third mini album MY WORLD is coming out as early as May 9!
AESPA - MY WORLD (3RD MINI ALBUM)
Aespa has announced four versions with brightly colored covers: Zine (Yellow), Poster (Green), Tabloid (Purple) and Intro (Pink). Not all the details about the contents are known yet, but we'll summarize what we know for you here:
The yellow Zine version has two different covers and includes, among other things, a booklet and a random photocard. The green Poster version also offers different covers, but here there are four variants. In addition, there are, for example, cut photos, stickers and photocards. The purple Tabloid version consists of a 48-page booklet, which includes a photocard, among other things. Finally, there is the pink Intro version: buyers can look forward to a 72-page booklet and a photocard.
For all versions, there is also an optional poster if you pre-order the album!
As you can see, the information is still very incomplete, but according to SM Entertainment, more details will be announced soon.
Have you already seen the intro video for the new album on YouTube?
It was uploaded yesterday and gives an impression of the concept that awaits us. In the last few seconds, we even hear a line that might belong to one of the new songs:
Aespa's first mini album “Savage” was released on October 5, 2021. The girl group had already made their debut in November 2020 with the single “Black Mamba” and celebrated their first comeback in May 2021 with “Next Level”. However, both singles were only released digitally, so a physical album was long overdue! How much the fans had been waiting for it was clear from the numbers. More than 400,000 copies of Savage were pre-ordered, and with more than 200,000 copies sold on the second day after release, it was considered the best-selling debut album by a girl group on the Hanteo Chart. In addition, the album topped numerous charts, including the Korean Gaon Album Chart.

With the second mini album “Girls” in June 2020, Aespa not only surpassed their personal records but also proved that they belong at the top of the K-Pop scene. More than 1 million 610 thousand copies were pre-ordered, more than for any other K-Pop girl group album before! It is currently even among the 40 best-selling albums in South Korea!
We're curious whether we can congratulate Aespa on new records again soon. Fans undoubtedly can't wait to add another Aespa album to their collection with MY WORLD. How much are you looking forward to the comeback?
