A new album from the girl group known for their unusual, rocky sound is finally coming out on April 12, 2022. Dreamcatcher last released “Summer Holiday” in July 2021. So we had to be patient for 8 months, but the new album really packs a punch!
You can pre-order "Apocalypse" at Nolae starting today!
Apocalypse: Save Us
Before anything else, the full tracklist was announced on the girl group's official Twitter account. We're getting no fewer than 14 new songs, including the title track “Maison”! Particularly interesting: half of the songs are solos. Every single member of Dreamcatcher recorded a song of their own for the album!
Even for passionate collectors of Dreamcatcher albums who have the entire discography on their shelf, “Apocalypse” is a valuable addition. If you can't yet call a CD by the girl group your own, this would be a great start.
Let's take a look at what's inside:
There is a Limited Edition and 3 regular versions:
The three regular versions are called “A” (blue), “V” (red) and “E” (green). Each version contains an individually designed CD, an individually designed booklet, one of 7 round member photocards and 3 of 28 random photocards. Everything comes in a box that, just like the booklet, is square. The color differs depending on the version.
If you pre-order the album, you'll also get a folded poster!
The Limited Edition comes with the CD, the photo book, a hologram postcard set, 3 of 12 random photocards, one of 7 random pop-up cards and a folded poster.
The last extra is something completely new: a cork coaster! We haven't seen that in any album so far. So the girl group isn't just unconventional when it comes to music! It's pretty cool, though. Who else can claim to have a coaster from an official K-pop album at home? The whole thing is held together by a box, just like the normal versions. However, the photo book and box here are not square but rectangular.
