About FAMOUS
The pre-release single came out a week before the release of the single album and the lead single “WICKED”. Since there aren’t many co-ed groups in the K-pop industry, interest was already high even before the debut. On top of that, member Bailey is known as a professional dancer and has created the choreography for many K-pop hits: K/DA - Pop/Stars, Red Velvet - Psycho, SHINee - Don't Call Me, and more!
The lyrics of “FAMOUS” are about self-confidence and ambition. The narrators feel like stars, even though they’re “not even famous”. Their aura and lifestyle draw attention, even without being famous. The chorus repeatedly stresses that they shouldn’t be underestimated.
The message quickly struck a chord with fans, who clicked on the video 17 million times in the first week and a half alone!
