NewJeans' official debut is still to come, but the new girl group has already uploaded three songs and caught the attention of fans worldwide!
The physical album, for which details have finally been released today, doesn't hold back either. There are no fewer than 10 versions, which could hardly be more different: one Weverse Album Version, 6 Bluebook Album Versions and 3 Bag Versions!
The most interesting are the three Bag Versions, because buyers actually get a handbag! You can choose between a white, a black and a red variant. When choosing, it really only depends on which bag you like best, because the contents are the same for all three: a 68-page pin-up book, a CD and a five-piece photocard set. The Bag Version is a truly extraordinary addition to any collection, because a real handbag as packaging is almost unique!

If you'd still like a more regular album version, maybe in addition, you can go for the six Bluebook Versions. Each of them consists of a foldable box containing the following: a 68-page log book, a 76-page pin-up book, seven Phoning Manual books in an envelope, a CD, an ID card, a three-piece sticker set, a five-piece photocard set and 6 mini posters. So quite a lot!
All contents except the Phoning Manual books and the mini posters differ depending on the version. There is one version for each of the five members - Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin & Hyein - and one NewJeans version.
Finally, there is the Weverse Version. It contains a 28-page lyric booklet, one of three possible photocard sets and one of three QR cards. Each photocard set contains 10 photocards!
As you can see, there's a lot to choose from. Which version will you go for?
NewJeans is the first artist of "ADOR", a label that was founded in 2021 and belongs to Hybe Corporation.
That makes NewJeans the newest girl group from Hybe. Until recently, that title still belonged to Le sserafim, the five-member girl group from Source Music - also a sub-label of Hybe Corporation -, which debuted in May of this year.
On August 1, NewJeans will officially debut with the album of the same name. On that day, however, it will “only” be released digitally; the physical album will follow a week later, on August 8. The new song “Cookie” will also be uploaded on August 1.
In fact, “Cookie” is the only one of the four songs on the album that we don't know yet. “Attention”, “Hype Boy” and “Hurt” were all released with their own music video on YouTube over the last three days. There is also already a performance video for "Attention":
For “Hype Boy” there are even four different music videos: a Minji version, a Danielle&Haerin version, a Hyein version and a Hanni version! No wonder the girl group already has fans eagerly awaiting their debut! Are you one of them?
